Founded in Melbourne, Australia, Effe was created with a vision to elevate the quality and overall experience of buying and selling second-hand designer fashion.
Meet Effe Founder – Julia
Starting Effe was natural next step for me after working at my family business – Evans Leather Repair.
I wanted to bring my family’s expertise into the resale market. Effe extends our value for quality, craftmanship, and maintenance. We don’t just sell preloved luxury, we provide ongoing support for leather care long after the sale.
I named Effe after my yiayia, Eftihia, affectionately known as Effie.
At Effe, we curate a collection of second-hand luxury handbags. You’ll find both Preloved pieces that carry their original charm, as well as Restored pieces, thoughtfully refurbished by Evans’ leather specialists to look and feel close to new.

Authenticated Pieces
Every item on our site has been authenticated. Our authentication is rigorous and involves the physical examination of materials, craft, hardware, detailing, and serial numbers. Third party authenticators may be used to provide a second opinion.
Our Partnership
Unlike traditional resale, we emphasise maintaining and caring for luxury goods, recognising their need for ongoing attention. In partnership with Evans, we bridge the after-care gap in the resale market by providing after-care services to every client.
